Janice Clarice Carey Wallace Isbell, age 83, of Royston, passed away on June 18, 2023 at St. Mary's Sacred Heart Hospital.

Born March the 29th, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Carvel Asbury Cary and the late Annie Ruth Maddox Cary Chapman of Royston, GA.

She was a homemaker, a degreed businesswoman, a wonderful, doting mother, an extremely devoted, loving Nanny, and the Matriarch to the entire family. She was also a devoted Christian and woman of God.

She is survived by her son: Ewell Leslie Wallace, Jr. (Bonnie); and her daughter: Anita Wallace Moore (the late Ricky Moore); Grandchildren: Ashley Moore Dawkins (Kirk), Magan Moore Crump (Andrew), Jake Wallace (Brandi), Adrienne Wallace Kelsey (Kyle); Great Grandchildren: Maley Dawkins, Reese Dawkins, Brody Crump, Gage Crump, Conner Wallace, Aubrey Kelsey, and Carson Kelsey.

She took great honor in being the oldest to seven younger siblings whom she loved and adored, Herbert Carey of Commerce, GA., Ann Cary Monnier of Royston, GA., Anthony Cary of Royston, Marie Carey Chapman of Sandy Springs, SC., Sandy Cary Stephenson of Royston, Ronald Carey of Royston, and David Chapman of Sandy Springs.

The hobbies she enjoyed were working in her flower gardens, traveling with family and friends and spending time by the water fishing. But most of all, she loved spending quality time with her family and creating many cherished memories.

Mrs. Isbell was cremated in accordance with her request. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
