Miss Janie Ruth Moore, 91, of 651 Rhodes Drive, Elberton, GA, died Monday, June 23, 2008 at Spring Valley Nursing Home.
Born February 5, 1917 in Hart County, GA, she was the daughter of the late Tom Martin Moore and Bertie Hendricks Moore.She was a homemaker.
She is survived by:Brothers, George Moore, Thomas Moore and Doug Moore; Sister, Claudine Mignisey.She is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Joe, Guy, T.M. and Stuart Moore; Sisters, Alma June Wilson, Liz Fleming, Eva Mae Adams, Willie Vickery and Lillian Blackmon.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, June 26, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at Tabernacle Baptist Church.Rev. Randall Starrett and Rev. David Vickery will officiate.Burial will be in the Tabernacle Baptist Church Cemetery.
The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home ~ Hartwell Chapel where the family will receive friends Wednesday night from 7 – 9:00 p.m. The family is at their respective homes.
