Mr. Jason Lee Segars, 44, of Hartwell, passed away Friday, October 10 2025 at his home.

Born on June 30, 1981 in Anderson SC, he was the son of Ann Baker and the late Larry Segars.

Survivors include his mother: Ann Baker of Hartwell; one daughter: Yasmine Segars of Lawrenceville GA; and one sister: April Walters (Brandon) of Lavonia. He was preceded in death by his father: Larry Segars and his wife: Bobbie Sue Fraley Segars.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, October 14, 2025 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell. Other times the family will be at the home.

A celebration of life for Mr. Jason Segars will be Tuesday, October 14, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home with Rev. Jason McCary officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association, PO Box 7023, Merrifield Virginia 22116.

The Strickland Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Hartwell is in charge of all arrangements.
