Obituary

Mrs. Jean Harrison Fisher, 58, of Athens Street, Hartwell, passed away Monday, April 16, 2018 at St. Mary's Sacred Heart Hospital, Lavonia, GA.

Born on September 23, 1959 in Phillipsburg, NJ, she was the daughter of Harold P. Harrison and the late Barbara Vandiver Phillips. Mrs. Fisher was a sewing machine operator with EZ-On Auto Tops, Iva SC and of the Christian faith.

Survivors include her father: Harold Harrison of Easton PA; her husband: Ricky Fisher; two daughters: Kelly Fisher of Royston, Kimberly Rousey (Farrell) of Hartwell; one son: Paul Fisher of Athens; two brothers: John Wieller of Bowersville, Robert Wieller of Williamston, SC; one sister: Beth Young of Easton, PA; five grandchildren: Deontay Mattox, Trinati Pinkston, Kaiden Fisher, Isabella Rousey, and Gabriela Rousey also survive. Mrs. Fisher was preceded in death by her mother; one brother: Darren Harrison and one sister: Jane Tesar.

A memorial service celebrating Jean's life will be held on Thursday, April 19, 2018 at 4:30 p.m. at the Encounter Church with Rev. Gary McCurley and Rev. Nick Rucker officiating.

The family will receive friends Thursday afternoon from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. at the Encounter Church, 1318 Reed Creek Hwy, Hartwell.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 105 West Park Drive, Suite C, Athens GA 30606.

The Strickland Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Hartwell is in charge of all arrangements.
