Mrs. Barbara Jean Doker Middleton, age 72 of 571 Old Canon Church Rd, Bowersville GA, died Sunday, May 31, 2009 at Heritage Health Care at Grandview, Athens.

Born August 9, 1936 in Anderson County, SC, she was the daughter of the late Claude J. Doker and Mary Nell Bray Doker.She was retired from the Hartwell Company as a Seamstress and was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church.

She is survived by:Sons, Terrell Middleton of Hartwell, GA and Billy Middleton of Bowersville, GA; Brother, Kenneth Doker of Lavonia, GA; Sisters, Bonita Phillips of Huntsville, AL and Charlotte Blackwell of Jacksonville, FL; Six grandchildren and six great grandchildren also survive.She is preceded in death by Parents; Husband, Owen "Buck" Middleton; Son, Johnny Ray Middleton and a Sister, Mary Daniel.

Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, June 2, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church.Father Terence Kane will officiate.The family is at 122 Sanders Circle, Hartwell, GA.
