Obituary

Mrs. Jean Page Peppers, 81, of Bamboo Point, Hartwell, passed away Sunday, April 3, 2016 at her home.

Born on May 3, 1934 in Monroe GA, she was the daughter of the late John Levi Page and Mae Hardin Page.Mrs. Peppers was a home maker and a member of the Abundant Life Baptist Church.

Survivors include her son: Duane Peppers, Jr. of Hartwell; two daughters: Laurie DeLair and her husband Daniel, Angie Sweat and her husband Ward both of McDonough; six grandchildren: Waverly Sweat, Scarlet Sweat, Brianna Peppers, Mikayla Peppers, David DeLair and Dylan DeLair.Mrs. Peppers was preceded in death by her parents; her husband: Leslie Duane "Red" Peppers.

Memorial services will be Wednesday, April 6, 2016, 1:00 pm in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell with Rev. Ken Brewer officiating.

The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell, where the family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday evening.The family is at the home. Flowers are optional, memorials may be made to the Abundant Life Baptist Church, P.O. Box 237, Hartwell, GA 30643.
