Mrs. Margaret Jeanette Englin Gabriel, 66, of 61 Thrasher Street, Bowersville, died Saturday, February 25 at Hart County Hospital.
Born on November 12, 1945 in Royston GA, she was the daughter of the late Fred Englin and Margaret Looney Englin.
Survivors include her common law husband, Frank Smith; two sons, James Gabriel and his wife Martha of Bowersville and Chuck Gabriel of Lavonia; a step-son, John Smith of Bowersville; a brother, Jimmy Englin of Toccoa; a sister, Helen Presley of Toccoa and 2 grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 28, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell with Rev. Robert McDuffie officiating.Burial will follow in the Bowersville City Cemetery.
The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell where the family will receive friends from 7:00-9:00 p.m. Monday.The family is at their respective homes.Memorials may be made to the Patient Activity Fund at Hartwell Health Care Center.
