Mrs. Jeanette Hardin Isom, 83, of Hartwell, passed away Tuesday, May 14, 2024 at Prisma Health Cottingham Hospice House in Seneca, SC.

Born on May 27, 1940 in Lavonia, GA, she was the oldest grandchild of Tom & Maude Cawthon. Mrs. Isom was a homemaker, and provided child care services out of her own home for several years. She was a member of the Mt. Hebron Baptist Church and attended Reed Creek Baptist Church.

Survivors include her son: Michael Isom (Denise) of Lavonia; daughter: Tracy Bramlett (Allen) of Fair Play, SC; three grandchildren: Will Isom (Melissa) of Decatur, GA, Kate Isom-Carter (Brad) of Eagle River, AK, and Dalton Bramlett (Morganne) of Anderson, SC; and one great-grandchild: Mercy Carter. Mrs. Isom is preceded in death by her grandparents and her husband: Grady Isom.

The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell. Other times the family will be at their respective homes.

Graveside services for Mrs. Jeanette Isom will be Friday, May 17, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at the Nancy Hart Memorial Park with Rev. Alvin Burdette officiating.
