Obituary
Mrs. Jeannette White Eason, 95, of 245 Stillwood Drive, Hartwell, died peacefully Wednesday, November 14, 2012 at Hart Care Center.
Born on November 19, 1916 in Saluda, SC, Jeannette was retired from Greenwood Mills in Joanna, SC and was a member of Lewis Methodist Church in Newberry, SC.
Survivors include one daughter, Gerry Cleveland and her husband Bobby of Hartwell; one son, Everette Mays and his wife Patsy of Newberry, SC; one brother, William C. White of Newberry, SC; one sister, Carrie Slice of Charleston, SC; five grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild also survive.Mrs. Eason was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Frank White; and one sister, Mary Shealy.
Graveside services will be Friday, November 16, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Nancy Hart Memorial Park with Rev. Carter Tucker officiating.
The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell, where the family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Friday prior to the service.The family is at the home.
