Mr. Jeffrey Thomas Goddard, 57, of Partain Drive, Hartwell, passed away Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at his home.

Born on September 29, 1958 in Atlanta, GA, he was the son of Joel Thomas Goddard and the late Virginia Partain Goddard.Mr. Goddard was employed with Royston Corporation as a CNC operator and a member of the Mt Olivet Baptist Church.

Survivors include his daughter: Brittany L. Sanders of Hartwell; four grandchildren: Alex Sanders, Andrew Sanders, Cameron Haley and TJ Goddard; one brother: Thomas Goddard and his wife Bobbi Jo of Jesup, GA; two sisters: Sheila Adams and her husband Mike of Hartwell, Jan Carey; and his loving companion: Connie Carter. Mr. Goddard was preceded in death by his mother: Virginia Partain Goddard; and one daughter: Niki Ankerich.

Funeral services will be Saturday, January 2, 2016, at 3:00 pm in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home with Rev. Lonnie Bennett officiating.Burial will be in the Nancy Hart Memorial Park.

The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell, where the family will receive friends from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. Saturday prior to the service.The family is at the home.
