Mr. Jeffery Alan Starcher, 60, of Lavonia Hwy, Hartwell, passed away Sunday, March 5, 2023 at his home.

Born on July 3, 1962 in Charleston WV, he was the son of the late Perry A. "Bob" Starcher and Mozelle Fowler Starcher.  He was a beloved Father and proud Grandfather.

Survivors include his three daughters: Julie Ann Alzen of Toccoa GA, Jennifer Lynn Starcher of LaHarpe IL and Brenda Marie Shaffer of Kihei HI; two sisters: Connie Handzo of Roseville IL and Karen Carey of Lavonia GA; six grandchildren: Eveian Shaena Alzen, Joanna Nicole Alzen, Noah Luke Phillips, Jonathan Jaysean Alzen, Rodmond Raynor Alzen and Olivia Grace Pihaikealoha Shaffer; Mr. Starcher was preceded in death by his parents.

The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell. Other times the family will be at their respective homes.

Funeral services for Mr. Jeff Starcher will be held Saturday, March 11, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell with Rev. Marcus Queen officiating.  Burial will be in the Nancy Hart Memorial Park.

The Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell is in charge of all arrangements.
