Mr. Ronald Jeffrey "Jeff" Womack, 62, of Walnut Grove, GA, formerly of Hartwell, passed away Sunday, December 11, 2022 at his home.

Born on January 9, 1960 in Decatur, GA, he was the son of the late Dan Howard Womack and Shirley Payne Womack. Mr. Womack was the former director of Safety & Maintenance at the Newton Medical Center, and was of the Christian faith.

He is survived by his wife: Patricia H. Womack of Walnut Grove, GA; son: Blake Womack of Hartwell; daughter: Mandie Klaes (Jameson) of Loganville, GA; two brothers: Steve and Brian Womack, both of Hartwell; a sister: Angie Dalton of Tucker GA and two grandchildren also survive. Mr. Womack is preceded in death by his parents and one brother: Lee Womack.

It was Jeff's wishes to be cremated and a memorial service celebrating his life will be held on Saturday, December 17, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell with Mr. Slate Bauknight officiating. Jeff's ashes will be buried in the Memorial Garden of Prayer.
