Obituary
Mr. Jeffery Darson Gurley, 60, of 81 Fleming Cir, Hartwell, died Monday, January 17, 2011 at Hart Co. Hospital.
Born on March 21, 1950 in Royston GA, he was the son of the late Audron Gurley and Lula Mae Stone Gurley.He was a member of the Cross Roads Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Vicki Roland Gurley of the home; two daughters, Mollie Brockman and her husband Jimmy of Greenville and Jennie Evans and her husband Jim of Hartwell; a sister, Judy Stevens of Hartwell; a brother, Jim Gurley and his wife Angie of Hartwell; three grandchildren, Kathryn Brockman, Jacob Evans and Victoria Evans also survives.Mr. Gurley was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Jack Gurley.
Memorial services will be Thursday, January 20 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell with Rev. Kathleen Deegan -Neal officiating.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday night at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell.The family is at the home.Memorial may be made to the Liberty Hill United Methodist Church, 251 Beele Rd, Hartwell, GA 30643.
