Obituary
Mr. Jeffrey Duray Blackwell, age 50, of Lavonia, died Monday, October 13, 2008 at Athens Regional Medical Center.
Born September 5, 1958, in Franklin County, he was the son of the late Ray & Dura (Manly) Blackwell. He was a member of the Lavonia Church of God.
He is survived by children: Brandon, Jonathon, & Hannah; sisters: Sherri Carey of Royston and Maurita Lee of Lavonia; brother: Trippi Young of Lavonia; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held 4:00 p.m. Thursday, October 16, 2008 at Lavonia City Cemetery with Rev. Joe Renfro officiating. The family will receive friends at the home of Trippi & Vivian Young, 101 Shuford Street, Lavonia, Wednesday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.
