Mrs. Jennie Caudell Elliott, age 74, of Lavonia, died Tuesday, November 6, 2012 at Athens Regional Medical Center.
Born July 1, 1938, in Banks County, she was the daughter of the late Millard and Mamie (Brady) Caudell.Mrs. Elliott was a homemaker and member of the Lavonia Church of God.
She is survived by her husband: Charles Elliott of Lavonia, daughter & son-in-law: Melanie & Rodney Starrett of Kings Mountain N.C., daughter-in-law Joyce Coker Baskins, granddaughters: Ashley Carrol of Kings Mountain N.C. and Amber Buffington of Lavonia, grandson: Tyler Coker of Lavonia, step son: Tim Elliott of Lavonia, step daughter: Kelli Scott of Lavonia, great grandchildren: Kaylee & Ethan Carroll, Kaitlyn & Reagan Buffington, Hallie Coker, brother: Billy & wife Becky Caudell of alto, sisters: Elisabeth Lee of Toccoa and Doris & husband Odell Coker of Toccoa and Dorothy Parker of Baldwin GA; sister-in-law: Eula Mae Mintz of Maysville; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, son William Randall "Randy" Coker, brothers: Alvin, Roy and Dewey Caudell, sisters: Nina Nunnaly Bertha Mealor, & Dorothy English.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 9, 2012 at the Lavonia Church of God with Rev.Tyrone Hutchinson, Rev. Courtney Umbehant, and Rev. Ben Lumley officiating. Burial will follow in the Lavonia City Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday, evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. At other hours the family will be at the home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Lavonia Church of God Building Fund.
