Jennifer Rebecca Wight Isom, age 29, of Lavonia, passed away Saturday, December 18, 2021 at Atrium Health Navicent Medical Center in Macon, due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

She was born March 24, 1992, in Stephens County, the daughter of Larry Wight and Lisa Donald Wight. She was a member of Poplar Springs Baptist Church. She worked in customer service and will be remembered as a loving daughter, mother, and sister.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband: Jonathan Isom; daughters: Jaelyn Chambers, Marrissa Chambers, and Kaylee Isom; grandmother: Elouise Donald; brothers: Jonathan Wight (Kelly), Jamie Wight, and Billy Wight (Tiffany); aunts & uncles: Lynn & Tony Walters and Charlotte & Wayne Smith; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandfather: Ralton Donald; and grandmother: Dorothy Emory.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at the chapel of Strickland Funeral Home of Lavonia. Cremation will follow the service. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 12:00 p.m. until the service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the funeral home to defray expenses.
