Mrs. Jennifer Wylie Jenkins, wife of Dr. Benjamin Hill Jenkins of Cumberland Island, died Sunday, December 14th, 2008, following complications from heart surgery.She was a resident of Brunswick, formerly from Newnan, Georgia.
Jennifer was the daughter of Lieutenant Colonel Ross Wylie and Augie Green Wylie, from Hartwell Georgia.She is survived by her husband, Dr. Ben H. Jenkins, daughter, Jane Wylie Goodloe, niece, Brindley Guy Johnson, Atlanta, Ga., nephew, Ross Wylie Guy, Atlanta Ga., one great niece, Lela Johnson, two great nephews, Ross Johnson and Joe Guy IV, Atlanta, Ga. She was preceded in death by her mother, Augie Wylie, and sister, Betsy Wylie Guy.
Jennifer loved life, had many friends and we will forever remember her laugh and smile.She was very active with the YWCA, Brunswick Library, gardening and bird watching.

Crypt side services will be Saturday, January 17 at 2:00 p.m. at the Nancy Hart Memorial Park with Rev. Stephen Nelms officiating.A gathering of family and friends to celebrate Jennifer's life will be held after the crypt side service at the Skelton House, 97 Benson St, Hartwell GA from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m.
