Jennifer Lynn Hurst Sanders, age 45, of Bowersville, passed away Sunday, June 5, 2022 at her home following an extended illness.

She was born December 8, 1976, in Freeport, TX, the daughter of Larry Hurst and Gail Oaks Farmer. She was a homemaker and a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church in Hartwell.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband: Jason Sanders; children: Kayla Martin-Smith, Elizabeth Stuchell, Dalton Stuchell, and McKenna Stuchell; siblings: Shelly Knox, Shanna Marie Scott, Danny Scott, Jr., Bobby Hurst, and Barry Hurst; and four grandchildren.

The funeral service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 8, 2022 at the chapel of Strickland Funeral Home of Lavonia with Rev. Terry Meeks officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 2:00 p.m. until the service. Flowers are optional or memorial donations can be made to Cornerstone Baptist Church, 1543 Anderson Hwy, Hartwell, GA 30643.
