Mrs. Geraldine "Jeri" Bailey Dilbeck, age 73, of Martin, died Friday, April 1, 2011 at Stephens County Hospital.
Born May 9, 1937, in Atlanta, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Willie Mae O'Kelly Bailey. She worked as an auditor with the J. C. Penny Company. Mrs. Dilbeck was an active member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary having served as President, Treasurer, and Secretary. She was of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by her husband: Donald Dilbeck of the home; daughter: Connie Lawrence of Martin; grand daughters: Cindy Smith and Melissa Lawrence; great grandchildren: Michael and Matthew Smith and Landon Partain; brother and sister-in-law: Jimmy and Brenda Bailey of Martin; sisters: Sue Nelson of Martin and Margaret Williams of Newnan.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 4, 2011 at the Lavonia Chapel of Strickland Funeral Home with Rev. Todd West and Rev. Josh Harvill officiating. Burial will be at 2:00 pm at North Atlanta Memorial Gardens in Doraville.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday from 2:00 – 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. At other hours the family will be at the home.
