Obituary
Ms. Jerlene Myers Busby, age 70, of Seneca, died Friday, January 23, 2009 at Oconee County Medical Center.
Born December 9, 1938, in Anderson, SC, she was the daughter of the late Fred & Luna Todd Myers. She retired as a seamstress.
She is survived by daughters: Janet Busby Carr of Easley, SC and Debra Busby Wallace of Gaffney, SC; son Johnny Joe Busby of Lavonia; sisters: Hattie Elgin of Anderson, SC and Jean Griffin of Seneca, SC; brothers: Jimmy Myers of Anderson, SC and Bill Myers of Long Creek, SC; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
A graveside service will be held 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 27, 2009 at the Lavonia City Cemetery with Rev. Johnny Stowe officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 1:00 p.m. until the service hour.
