Mr. Jerry Fulmer Brown, age 73, of Lavonia, died Wednesday, March 4, 2015 at his home following an extended illness.
Born December 7, 1941, in Lamar, Colorado, he was the son of the late Richard and Bettie Marie Brown. Prior to retirement, Mr. Brown was an elevator superintendent for Schindler Elevator Company of Atlanta and a member of the IECU. He was of the Presbyterian faith.
Mr. Brown is survived by his wife: Linda Brown; daughter: Lesley Ann Murphy; son: Richard Casey Brown; grandchildren: Gillian Brown, Jeremy Brown and Lucas Murphy; sister: Barrie Sue Thielman and brothers: Rodney Brown, Jon Brown and Michael Terry.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 7, 2015 at the Lavonia Chapel of Strickland Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Stephens Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at other times the family will be at the home.
