Jerry Russell Cannon, 48, Kathryn Marie (Brendle) Cannon, 32, and Rose Marie Cannon, 5, of Canon, died Friday, November 28, 2014.
Jerry was born October 30, 1966, in Royston, the son of Louise (McGill) Cannon and the late James Cannon. Kathryn was born April 14, 1982, in Franklin, NC, the daughter of the late Dale and Marianne (Blackert) Brendle. Rose was born September 29, 2009 to Jerry and Kathryn.
They are survived by Jerry's mother: Louise (McGill) Cannon; their children: Celina Cano and her husband Edger Cano, Joshua Cannon and his fiancé October King, and Zachary Brendle; a granddaughter: November Lily Cannon; and many friends and family members. They were preceded in death by Jerry's father; Kathryn's parents; Jerry's grandparents: Norman and Vinie McGill; and Jerry's sister: Julie Cannon.
Graveside services will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, December 4, 2014 at the Lavonia City Cemetery with Rev. Johnny Stowe officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. At other times the family will be at the home. In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to the family to defray expenses.
