Mr. Jerry John Craft, 56, of Craft Road, Hartwell, passed away Thursday, December 29, 2016 at his home.

Born on June 1, 1960 in Royston GA, he was the son of Frances Goldsmith Craft and the late Curtis Craft.Jerry was the cook for Swamp Guinea Restaurant and a member of the Sardis Baptist Church.

Survivors include his mother: Frances Craft; his wife: Susan Thrasher Craft; two daughters: Mandy Craft and her companion Drew Tester of Hartwell and Maleah Dickman and her husband Erick of Cumming GA; three grandchildren: Silas Tester, Ava Grace Tester and Maddox Dickman and a brother: David Thompson and his wife Sandra of Hartwell.Mr. Craft was preceded in death by his father and a brother: Randy Craft.

Funeral services will be Sunday, January 1, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell with Rev. Ken Buffington and Rev. John Silver officiating.Entombment will be Monday, January 2, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the Nancy Hart Memorial Park.

The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell, where the family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Saturday evening.The family is at the home.Flowers optional, memorials may be made to the Sardis Baptist Church Children's Ministry, 4359 Anderson Hwy, Hartwell GA 30643 or to the River of Life Church Building Fund, 3966 Elberton Hwy, Hartwell GA 30643.
