Mr. Jerry DeWitt Duncan, 74, of Hartwell, passed away Saturday, September 30, 2023 at Rainey Hospice House, Anderson, SC.

Born on February 17, 1949 in Knoxville TN, he was the son of the late Edgar P. Duncan and Myrtle Crabtree Duncan.  Mr. Duncan was a United State Postal Service Clerk and a member of the Abundant Life Baptist Church. He also was a US Army Decorated Vietnam Veteran.

Survivors include his wife of 54 years: Lois Lamb Duncan; two sons: Eric Duncan of Flowery Branch, GA, Brian Duncan (Marlene) of Acra, NY and one sister: Brenda Poynter of Rocky Top, TN.  Mr. Duncan was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers: Bennie Joe Duncan, Ray Duncan; two sisters: Phyllis Johnson and Peggy Duncan

A memorial service celebrating Mr. Jerry Duncan's life will be held, Sunday, October 8, 2023, at the Abundant Life Baptist Church following the morning service at 12:00 noon with Rev. Ken Brewer and Rev. John Mitchell officiating with Military Honors.

Flowers are optional, memorials may be made to the Abundant Life Baptist Church, 12 Hart Service Road, Hartwell, GA 30643.
