Obituary
Mr. Jerry Clayton Harris, 60, of North Forest Ave, Hartwell, died Wednesday, October 8, 2014 at Athens Regional Medical Center.
Born on August 10, 1954 in Laurinburg, NC, he is the son of Dorothy Harris King and the late Jimmy Frank Harris.He was employed with Crimson Management LLC and was a member of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church.
Survivors include his mother: Dorothy King and step-father Clyde King of Hartwell; his wife: Ruth Ann Bailey Harris; two daughters: Margaret Fowler and her husband Nick of Carnesville and Melanie R Harris of Hartwell; one brother Roger Harris of Hartwell.Mr. Harris was preceded in death by his father; three brothers: John Harris, Dennis Harris and Billy Harris.
Memorial services will be Saturday, October 11, 2014 at 11:00 am at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church.The family will receive friends following the service at the home on North Forest Ave, Hartwell.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the TJ & Friends, P.O. Box 6161, Elberton, GA 30635 or Circle of Hope, P.O. Box 833, Cornelia, GA 30531.
