Obituary
Mr. Jerry Duane Hoover, age 83, of Lavonia, died Friday, December 24, 2010 at Stephens County Hospital.
Born July 21, 1927, in Winfield, KS, he was the son of the late George and Merle (Smith) Hoover. He was a meat inspector with USDA. Mr. Hoover was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church of Toccoa.
He is survived by his wife Mary (Parsons) Hoover of the home; daughter: Kathy Ball of Lavonia; and sons: James F. Hoover of Toccoa and Jerry Hoover of Adairsville.
Graveside services will be held 1:00 p.m. Monday, December 27, 2010 at North Atlanta Memorial Park, 5188 Winters Chapel Road, Duluth, GA. He will be remembered at a Memorial Mass Friday, December 31, 11:00 am at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Toccoa."
The family will be at the home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Mary's Catholic Church 231 Rothell Road Ext. Toccoa, GA.
