Obituary
Mr. Jerry Lowell King, age 71, of Lavonia, died Sunday, June 3, 2012 at Cobb Memorial Hospital.
Born March 23, 1941, in Lavonia, Hart County, he was the son of the late Eura A. and Bessie R. King. He was a Methodist minister and was a member of Providence United Methodist Church. Mr. King was a member of Tugaloo Art Guild, Savannah River Genealogy, Savannah River Productions, Franklin Community Players, Land of Spirits Folk Life Production, and Franklin County Historical Society.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister & brother-in-law: Jannette (King) Smith and J. C.
He is survived by his niece & her husband: Lori & Chuck Lewis of Lavonia; and great nephews: David Roberts & Austin Wood.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm Sunday, June 10, 2012 at the Lavonia Cultural Center with Rev. Doug Brown officiating.
