Obituary
Mr. Jerry Marshall Vickery, 60, of Shoal Creek Community, died Wednesday, March 16, 2011 at Hartwell Healthcare Center.
Born October 18, 1950, in Hartwell, GA he was the son of the late Gart and Louise Vickery. He was a lifelong member of Shoal Creek Baptist Church.
He is survived by a brother and sister-in-law: Phil and Barbara Vickery of Lavonia; and a sister: Elizabeth Jordan of SC. Mr. Vickery was preceded in death by a brother: Jack W. Vickery.
Graveside service will be Friday, March 18, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Shoal Creek Baptist Church Cemetery Lavonia, GA with Rev. Mike Smith and Rev. Bill Harris officiating. The family will receive friends at the Lavonia Chapel of Strickland Funeral Home Friday, March 18 from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Shoal Creek Baptist Church Perpetual Fund, 1325 Shoal Creek Baptist Church Road, Lavonia, GA 30553.
