Obituary
Mr. Jerry Wayne Vickery, 68, of Old Mt. Hebron Road, Hartwell, passed away Tuesday, April 5, 2022 at his home.
Born on November 12, 1953 in Anderson SC, he was the son of the late Clate Herndon Vickery and Annie Ruth Moon Vickery. Mr. Vickery was a retired car salesman for various dealerships and a member of Reed Creek Baptist Church.
Survivors include one sister: Judy V. Hughes of Hartwell; one brother: Jeff Vickery (Brenda) of Hartwell. Mr. Vickery was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers: James Vickery and Johnny Vickery.
The family will receive friends Thursday evening, April 7, 2022 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell.Other times the family will be at their respective homes.
A private graveside service for Mr. Jerry Vickery will be held by the family at a later date.
Flowers optional, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 105 West Park Dr., Suite C, Athens, GA 30606.
The Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell is in charge of all arrangements.
