Mr. Jerry Mack Welborn, 65, of Lavonia Highway, Bowersville, passed away Saturday, February 22, 2020 at his home.

Born on August 6, 1954 in Royston, GA, he was the son of the late Mack L. Welborn and Nina Bailey Welborn.Mr. Welborn was a member of Rock Springs Baptist Church.

Survivors include his sister: Brenda Grubbs of Bowersville; his nephew: Todd Grubbs (Angela) of Bowersville; his two beloved dogs: Elbert and Ace and several aunts and uncles and cousins also survive.

The family will receive friends Tuesday afternoon from 12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m. at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell.Other times the family will be at the home.

Funeral services for Mr. Jerry Welborn will be held Tuesday, February 25, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell with Rev. Terry James.Burial will be in Nancy Hart Memorial Park.
