Miss Jessica Ann Ray, age 18, of 437 Old Reed Creek Road, Hartwell, GA, died Monday, April 6, 2009 at Greenville Memorial Hospital.
Born April 25, 1990 in Stephens County, GA, she is the daughter of Anthony Ray of Hartwell, GA and Romona Holloway Floyd and stepdaughter of Dennis Floyd of Hartwell, GA.She is a member of Mt. Vernon Baptist Church in Dawsonville, GA and attended Hart County High School.
She is survived by:Parents; Brother, Cameron Floyd of Hartwell, GA; Paternal grandparents, Kenneth Ray and Jean Ray of Gainesville, GA; Maternal grandparents, Madge Holloway of Ball Ground, GA; Paternal Step grandparents, Henry Floyd and Jean Floyd of Hartwell, GA; and several aunts and uncles.She is preceded in death by grandfather, Pledger Holloway.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, April 9, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell.Graveside Service will be held at the Mt. Vernon Baptist Church Cemetery, Kelly Bridge Road, Dawsonville, GA at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday.
The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home ~ Hartwell Chapel where the family will receive friends Wednesday night from 7 – 9:00 p.m.The family is at the home.
