Obituary
Mr. Jessie Frank Borders, 65, of 1736 Pleasant Hill Road, Elberton, died peacefully Friday, November 2, 2012 at Athens Regional Medical Hospital.
Born on January 13, 1947 in Anderson, SC, he was the son of the late Jessie Frank Borders and Elise Chitwood Borders. Jessie was retired from Tenneco as a machine operator.
Survivors include his wife, Debbie Simpson Borders of the home; two sons: Chris Borders and his wife Gina of Seneca, SC, Bryan Borders of Hartwell; two daughters: Sharon Voyles of Carnesville, Angie Gholston-Solomon of Pembroke, GA; one sister, Ruth Hill of Hartwell; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren also survive.Mr. Borders was preceded in death by his parents; and two sisters: Irene Simpson and Betty Borders.
Memorial services will be Monday, November 5, 2012 at 4:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell with Barbara Cox officiating.
The family is at the home. Flowers are optional or special memorials can be made to the National Autism Association, 20 Alice Agnew Drive, Attleboro Falls, MA02763.
