Mr. J. I. Bryson, age 81 of Glendale Drive, Hartwell, Ga., died Friday, December 1, 2006 at Hart Care Center.
Born March 25, 1925 in Hart County, GA, he was the son of the late Luther Bryson and Annie Allison Bryson.He was retired from Clark Schwebel.He was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church.
His survivors include:Son, Wayne Bryson and his wife Cindy of Hartwell, GA; Sister, Ruth Bailey of Hartwell, GA; Three grandchildren. Joey Bryson, Josh Bryson, and Samuel Bryson; Three great grandchildren, Tyler Bryson, Haley Bryson and Madison Bryson also survive. He is preceded in death by Wife, Imogene Teasley Bryson; Six brothers, Joel, Charlie, Horace, Alfred, James and Harold Bryson, and Two sisters, Willie Mae Bryson and Clara Weaver.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, December 4, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. from the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell.Rev. Dale Carson and Rev. Doug Brown will officiate.Burial will be in the Sardis Baptist Church Cemetery.
The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell where the family will receive friends Sunday night from 6 to 8:00 p.m.The family is at the home of Wayne and Cindy Bryson, 915 Almar Road, Hartwell, GA.
