Mr. James John "Jim" Cerniglia, age 73 , of Lavonia, passed away Wednesday, July 1, 2015 at his home.
Born December 14, 1942, in Hackensac, NJ. He was the son of the late James John Cerniglia, Jr. and Josephine (Peraino) Cerniglia. He was a veteran of the US Navy and graduate of the University of Miami. Mr. Cerniglia was Director of Flight Operations for Delta Airlines.
He is survived by his wife: Catherine (Cox) "Kay" Cerniglia.
Mr. Cerniglia's request was to be cremated and a celebration of his life will be held at a later date at Lake Hartwell and in Florida.
