Jimmie Frank Sosby, age 77, of Lavonia, passed away at St. Mary's Sacred Heart Hospital on Wednesday, October 30, 2024. Born on September 2, 1947, in Franklin County, he was the son of the late James and Jimmie Ruth King Sosby. Frank dedicated his career to Brown Memorial Convalescent Center, where he worked in environmental services until his retirement. A devout member of New Franklin Christian Church, Frank was known for his commitment to his faith and community.

He is survived by his loving wife, Patsy Wooten Sosby, his son, Matthew Sosby, and several cousins who cherished him dearly.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, November 1, 2024, at the funeral home chapel, with Rev. Dorsey Holmes officiating. Following the service, Frank will be laid to rest in Franklin Memorial Gardens – North. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 1:00 p.m. until the service begins.
