Mr. Jimmy Ray Dunn, 75, of Reed Creek School Rd, Hartwell, passed away Monday, July 18, 2022 at his home.

Born on June 30, 1947 in Anderson, SC, he was the son of the late W.C. Dunn and Leo Lee Dunn. Mr. Dunn was a retired farmer and Bus driver for the Hart County Charter System. He was also a member of the Cornerstone Baptist Church and the Nancy Hart Masonic Lodge #690.

Survivors include his wife: Rhona Strickland Dunn of Hartwell; Matthew Dunn (Amanda) of Hartwell; four sisters: Irene Etheridge (Lloyd) of Hartwell, Robbie Ethridge of Belton, TX, Dorthy Baker of Suwanee, GA, and Sara Collins of Hartwell; two grandchildren: Austin Tray Reynolds (Ashley) of Toccoa and Rayben Dunn of Hartwell; and two great grandchildren: Asa Reynolds and Drew Spencer, both of Toccoa, also survive.

The family will receive friends Saturday afternoon from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell.  Other times the family will be at the home.

Funeral services for Mr. Jimmy Ray Dunn will be held Saturday, July 23, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell.  Burial will be in the Reed Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.

Flowers optional, memorials may be made to the Cornerstone Baptist Church, 1543 Anderson Hwy, Hartwell, GA 30643.
