Jimmy David Johnson, age 62, of Lavonia, passed away Tuesday, December 13, 2022, at his home.

Born December 25, 1959, in Duluth, he was the son of the late J. N. Lavon Johnson and Frances Geraldine Fain. Before retirement he worked for the Atlanta's Best Flooring Company. He was a veteran of US Army. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter: Jennifer Lynn Johnson; grandson: Joshua Johnson; brother: Johnny Johnson; and sister: Gloria Johnson.

He is survived by his sons: Jimmy John Johnson and David Jason Johnson; grandchildren: James Jonathon Parr, Jr., Caden Blake Parr, LaVontre Johnson, Elisha Johnson, Heaven Leigh-Grace Johnson, Ivy Harteau, and Elijah Harteau; siblings: Jerry Lavon Johnson, and Deborah Sue Johnson Griffin; nieces and nephews: Toni Melissa Hail, Jason Todd Johnson, Shanda Johnson, Ashley Griffin, and Natasha Noel Johnson; and companion: Angela Warren.

Mr. Johnson was cremated in accordance with his request. The family will gather in the Spring to celebrate his life.
