Mr. Jimmy Claudine Justice, age 65, of Canon, passed away Monday, December 24, 2012 at Athens Regional Medical Center following an extended illness.
Born April 3, 1947, in Auburndale, FL, he was the son of Blanch (Quattlebaum) Justice and the late Claude Justice. He retired from Yancey Brothers Company and was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife: Debbie (Montgomery) Justice of Canon; daughter: Denise Graham of Winterhaven, FL; sons: Jefferson Justice of Greenville, SC, James Justice of Royston, and Jeremiah Justice of Pendleton, SC; and grandchildren: Jordan Justice, Jenna Justice, Gabriel Gollar, Samuel Graham, Katie Beth Justice, and Cory Walker. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by sister: Patricia Fischer.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 28, 2012 at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Kenneth Jones and Rev. Bob Nash officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. At other hours the family will be at the home.
