Obituary
Mr. James Edward "Jimmy" McHugh, age 71, of Canon, died Thursday, March 11, 2010 at his home.
Born March 28, 1939, in Atlanta, he was the son of the late Davis S. McHugh, Sr. and Lucille (Baker) McHugh. He was retired from the United States Postal Service. Mr. McHugh was a veteran of the US Navy and he was of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by brothers: Davis S. McHugh, Jr. of Greenville, SC and Charles Townley McHugh of Loganville; and sisters: Mary Jane McHugh of Canon and Elizabeth Shephard of Maple Hill, NC.
Graveside services will be held 3:00 p.m. Saturday, March 13, 2010 at Stephens Memorial Gardens , Toccoa , with the Rev. Edwin Beckham officiating.
