Mrs. Jo Ann Scott Saylors, 82, of 5660 Dorsett Shoals Road, Douglasville GA, formerly of Hartwell, died Tuesday, April 9 at Wellstar Paulding Nursing Center, Douglasville.

Born on March 27, 1931 in Hartwell GA, she was the daughter of the late Mac Daniel Scott and Ina Irene Wilson Scott.She was a retired seamstress for the Hartwell Mfg., member of the Sardis Baptist Church, Homemakers Sunday School Class and the Happy Harts.

Survivors include her son, Carl C. Saylors of Douglasville; a daughter-in-law, Elaine L. Saylors of Chester VA and five grandchildren, Jessica Saylors, Lexie Saylors, Kegan Saylors, Scott Saylors and Zachary Saylors.Mrs. Saylors was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Rev. Robert Floyd Saylors; son, Dr. Robert E. "Bobby" Saylors and a brother, Ralph Daniel Saylors.

Funeral services will be Saturday, April 13 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home with Rev. John Silver officiating.Burial will be in the Nancy Hart Memorial Park.
