Mrs. JoAnn Carson Perry, 88, of Hartwell, formerly of Loganville GA, passed away Sunday, November 5, 2023 at Hartwell Health & Rehab.

Born on July 11, 1935 in Atlanta GA, she was daughter of the late Horace Carson and Ella Mae (Scott) Carson.  Mrs. Perry was a graduate of Roosevelt High School, Atlanta, a retired Telephone Operator for Southern Bell/ATT and a member of the ATT Pioneers.

Survivors include her son: Aaron Keith Perry (Tabatha) of Hartwell; two granddaughters: Hannah Roe (Craig) and Elizabeth Wardingley (Michael Jr.); four great-grandchildren: McKenzye, Madison, & Taylor Wardingley and Jackson Roe all of Hartwell.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband: Aaron Monroe Perry and several brothers and sisters.

Mrs. Perry wished to be cremated and her family will have a private graveside service at Nancy Hart Memorial Park.  The family will be at their respective homes.

The Strickland Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Hartwell is in charge of all arrangements.
