Ms. Joann Osborne Sanders, 73, 1004 Creek Side Dr., Canton, GA, formerly of Hartwell and Elberton, died Wednesday, August 15, 2007 at Vitas Hospice.

Born on April 11, 1934 in Hart County GA, she was daughter of the late Joe E. Osborne and Audrey Nell Reed Osborne.She was a retired LPN, where she worked at Hart County Hospital and Hart Care Center.She was a member of the Reed Creek Baptist Church.

Survivors include two sons: Clarke Sanders of Hartwell and Russ Sanders of Canton; a daughter: Sherry Stewart of Arnoldsville; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; Four sisters: Claudette Crawford of Anderson, Sue Bray and Betty Tise both of Hartwell and Micki LeCroy of Tignal; two brothers: N.S.Osborne and Tony Osborne both of Hartwell; two aunts: Inez Marlow and Julia O. Ayers also survive.

Mrs. Sanders wished to be cremated and a memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 25 at 10:00 a.m. at the Reed Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Sam Dulaney and Rev. Carter Tucker officiating.The family will receive friends after the memorial service at the Family Life Center.Memorials may be made to Vitas Hospice, 5411 Northland Dr., Atlanta, GA 30342.
