Obituary
Ms. JoAnne Sneed Longtin, age 77 of Hartwell, Ga., died Sunday, June 3, 2007 at Gwinnett Medical Center in Lawrenceville, Ga.
Born January 27, 1930 in Kentucky she was the daughter of the late Glen George Sneed and Josephine McRight Sneed. She was a retired office manager at Elbert County High School. She was a member of Hartwell Church of Christ and The Hart County Retired Teachers Association.
She is survived by: daughters and sons-in-law, Pamela Jo Combs and her husband Lonnie of Midlothian, VA, Lynn Elizabeth Peak and her husband Matthew of Salem, S.C; and Susan Diane Campagna and her husband Nicholas of Lawrenceville, Ga. and. Nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 6, 2007 at 4:00 p.m. from the Hartwell Chapel of Strickland Funeral Home. Rev. Lee Graham and Mr. Paul Abernathy will officiate. Burial will follow at Nancy Hart Memorial Park.
The body is at the funeral home, where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday evening. The family will be at the home. Memorials may be made to The American Lung Association or the Hartwell Church of Christ.
