Mr. Joe Marshall Durham, 62, of Lavonia Hwy, Bowersville, passed away Thursday, December 31, 2020 at his home.

Born on January 31, 1958 in Norwich CT, he was the son of the late Hershel Leroy Durham Sr. and Geneva Turpin Durham.

Survivors include his daughter; Ashley Marie Durham of Washington State; brothers: Hershel Durham of Toccoa GA and Richard Long of Sevierville TN; sisters: Peggy Sawall of Eastanollee GA, Eneree "Sissy" Bohannon of Martin GA, Lisa Long of Sevierville TN, Brenda Roach (Ed) of Hartwell GA and Judy Sullivan of Bowersville GA; nieces: Elizabeth "Liz" Sullivan and Crystal Jordan of Bowersville GA, Crystal Roach Whitworth (Eric) and Lacey Roach Bailey (Brandon) of Hartwell GA, Jacque McMillan of Coshocton OH, Nancy Vorro, Zohra Vorro and 2 grandkids.He was preceded in death by a brother: Jack Sullivan.

A memorial service celebrating Joe's life will be held at a later date by the family.

The Strickland Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Hartwell is in charge of all arrangements.
