Mr. Joseph Thomas "Joe" Meere, Jr, 61, of Hartwell, passed away Friday, September 27, 2024 at AnMed Medical Center in Anderson, SC.

Born on April 24, 1963 in Bryn Mawr, PA, he was the son of the late Joseph Thomas Meere Sr. and Rose Marie Ann Panaccio Meere.  Mr. Meere was the owner/operator of Tech Equipment Sales, Inc. in Norristown, PA. Joe loved to build various things and was really skilled working with his hands. He also loved to fish and his beloved dog, Lou.

Survivors include His wife: Linda Ann Aaron Meere of Hartwell; three sons: Joshua Meere of Green Lane, PA, Jason Meere of Narberth, PA, and Joey Meere of Hartwell; three sisters: Peg Friese (Thomas) of Westchester, PA, Kathy Hill (David) of King of Prussia, PA, and Chris Cavaliere (David) of King of Prussia, PA; and several nieces & nephews also survive.

It was Mr. Meere's wishes to be cremated and no formal services will held at this time.

The Strickland Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Hartwell is in charge of all arrangements.
