Thomas Joseph "Joe" Saylors, age 85, of Canon, passed away Wednesday, November 8, 2023, at his home.

Born October 27, 1938 in Franklin County, he was the son of the late John and Pearl Brady Saylors. Mr. Saylors was a veteran of the US Army. Before retirement he worked for Royston Manufacturing.  He was a Member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife: Louise Haynie Saylors; son: Mark Saylors; daughter: Tracy Mitchell; grandchildren: Tarrah Holman, Cody Fleeman, Jared Saylors & Roman Conne; siblings: Ben, Lawrence, Leon, Blanche & Ester.

Crypt-side services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, November 10, 2023, at Franklin Memorial Gardens – North with Pastor Benjamin Faircloth officiating.
