Mr. Joel Phillip Bielski, 50, passed away Sunday, November 12, 2006 in Helen, GA.
Joel Phillip Bielski was born February 24, 1956 in Worth County, GA the son of the Rev. Richard and Anne Bielski. Joel was employed with Goodyear for 29 years and presently employed with SNR-Smyrna as a quality control manager.
Joel is survived by his parents, Rev. Richard and Ann Bielski of Lavonia; wife, Amy Maureen Geores Bielski of Atlanta; sons, Adam Joseph Edward and Thomas Christian; daughter, Margaret Elizabeth; and sister, Marcie Wright and her husband Peter of San Clemente, CA.
Funeral services are scheduled 2 p.m. Thursday, November 16, 2006 at the Lavonia First Baptist Church, Lavonia, Ga.Rev. Richard Bielski, Dr. Larry Finger, and Mr. Al Derosa will officiate. The body will be placed in the church from 12:30 to 1:00 p.m.The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening from 7 to 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home and again from 1-2:00 p.m. at the church prior to the service.The body will be cremated following the service.The family will be at the home of Richard and Anne Bielski, 44 Virginia Street, Lavonia, GA.
