Mr. John William "Billy" LeCroy, 72, of 450 Walt Wilson Road, Hartwell, died Friday, December 7, 2012 at his home.

Born on June 8, 1940 in Hartwell, GA, he was the son of the late Clinton LeCroy and Mary Ruth Bailey LeCroy.He was a member of Rock Springs Baptist Church.

Survivors include one brother, Don LeCroy and his wife Lillie Mae of Hartwell; three sisters: Mary Ann Grubbs and her husband George of Hartwell, Patsy Hart of Hartwell, Cathryn Little and her husband Allen of Royston, GA; several nieces and nephews; and a very special caretaker, Joyce Rucker.Mr. LeCroy was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be Sunday, December 9, 2012 at 4:00 p.m. at Chapel of Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell with Rev. David Wilson, Mr. Chuck Turner and Ms. Joyce Rucker officiating.Burial will be in the Rock Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.

The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell, where the family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Saturday.The family is at the home.
