Mr. John Inman Heaton, age 85, of 2897 Reed Creek Hwy., Hartwell, GA, died Thursday, June 10, 2010 at Hart County Hospital.
Born August 28, 1924 in Hart County, GA, he was the son of the late Crate Heaton and Kathryn Robertson Heaton.He was retired from Monroe Auto Equipment.He was a member of Mt. Hebron Baptist Church and the Bowersville Masonic Lodge #595.
He is survived by a Sister, Mildred Heaton of Macon, GA.He is preceded in death by his Parents; Wife, Mary Adams Heaton; Brothers, Denver and Herbert Heaton and a Sister, Georgia Weaver.
Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, June 13, 2010 at 4:00 p.m. at the Mt. Hebron Baptist Church.Dr. Donald Little and Rev. Ray Black will officiate.Burial will be in the Church Cemetery.
The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home ~ Hartwell Chapel where the family will receive friends Saturday night from 6 – 8:00 p.m. The family is at their respective homes.Flowers are optional; Memorials may be made to Mt. Hebron Baptist Church, 273 Mt. Hebron Road, Hartwell, GA30643.
