Mr. John Kendall Martin, 40, of 313 Martin Dairy Road, Bowersville, GA, died Wednesday, October 17, 2007 at his home.
Born in Franklin County, GA, he is the son of Max K. Martin and Rebecca "Becky" Ferguson Martin of Bowersville, GA. He attended Hart County High School, was a Farmer at Martin Dairy LLP and a Certified Pilot.
He is survived by:Parents; Daughter, Jessica Martin; Brother, Rev. Jason M. Martin of Lawrenceville, GA; Sisters, Sharon M. Ankerich of Hartwell, GA and Marcia M. Muckenfuss of Summerville, GA; Maternal Grandfather, Rev. Marvin C. Ferguson of Bowersville, GA.He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Inman Martin and Helen Martin; Maternal grandmother, Frances Ferguson.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, October 20, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at Cross Roads Baptist Church.Rev. Ben Coleman and Rev. Jason Martin will officiate.Burial will be in the Cross Roads Baptist Church Cemetery. The body will be placed in the church at 1:30 p.m. prior to the service.
The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home ~ Hartwell Chapel where the family will receive friends Friday night from 6 to 8:00 p.m.The family is at the home of Max & Becky Martin, 1604 Ankerich Road, Bowersville, GA.
